As a buyer:
ALWAYS ALWAYS use creditcard when paying for stuff. Paypals fraud protection is useless, youre only covered for 500 bucks and thats only if the scammer still has the money in the account. If he transfers it out to the bankaccount, theres nothing paypal can do. This is where creditcard comes in - with any good CC you can dispute the charges and just let your cc company deal with paypal. That way youll never be screwed out of your money.As a seller:
Never leave any money in the account. First off if someone used stolen account/card to pay it, paypal will want to reverse it and you get screwed out of the thing you sold. If you transfer the money to your account, they cant touch it. Also it so happens that accoutn with big ballances get locked for "suspicious activity" on random accasions. Its happened to me couple times where i had to go thru a lot of bulshit to get to my money. All while paypal was collection the interest.
